respond to a lawsuit filed by the bank claiming he defaulted on a 2009
loan, TMZ.com reports.
The original loan was for $1,000,000, and $210,705.71 of that was not paid back, the lawsuit claimed. A Georgia court ordered Erving to pay a total of $230,286.86 – the balance, plus $19,581.15 in interest, according to TMZ.
Georgia Primary Bank filed the lawsuit in Fulton Superior Court on Oct. 18 against the 61-year-old Erving and his corporation, The Erving Group Inc. of Atlanta.
