Bill Warren told 97.3 KIRO FM's Ron and Don Show he received a call Saturday night from a man offering to fund his quest to find Osama bin Laden's body and pay him $20 million if he's successful.
"He said, 'His people will pay me $20 million for the body of bin Laden so they can properly bury him on land,'" said Warren.
The man, who Warren described as having a strong Arabic accent, said he'd call Warren back this week with the details, but not before offering to get together a ship and electronics at no charge.
Last month, Warren told Ron and Don he's inviting people onto his 180 foot boat, which he might not need, to join the adventure.
He did said he was worried Al Qaida may get word of the project and place a price on his head, but he said he checked with a friend and doesn't believe the recent phone call came from a member of Al Qaida.
