Meatless Mondays Los Angeles, Los Angeles is now joining forces with Washington, D.C. and several counties in Maryland, who have declared Mondays as “Meatless Mondays.”
The Los Angeles city council recently unanimously approved a resolution that encourages people in the city to drop the meat for the day.
Before the vote one of the council members said he was supporting the resolution because “eating less meat can reverse some of our nation’s most common illnesses.”
