Cam Newton $150K Gift---Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton's charitable foundation has launched a program to boost school spirit and student achievement, kicking off the initiative with a $150,000 gift for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Bradley, Randolph and Thomasboro Academy middle schools will each receive $50,000, according to a statement from the foundation.
The funds will be used to develop customized programs aimed at enhancing the cultural environment, increasing student achievement, boosting student engagement and advancing health and wellness as part of the Cam Newton Foundation's School Pride Program.
