Amy winehouse found dead- British retro-soul singer Amy Jade Winehouse was found dead in her home in Camden, north London on , Saturday, July 23, 2011. This was really a shocking news as she was only 27-year-old. Her death was confirmed by the Metropolitan Police, after the London Ambulance Service was called to the singer's flat just before 4pm Saturday BST. A body, believed to be that of singer Amy Winehouse, is removed from her home following her death. The cause of death is as yet unknown but the Grammy Award winner Amy Winehouse, the soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, had checked out of a treatment center a month ago.
